How to Submit a Return for Credit
- Start by entering your invoice number (found on your purchase invoice).
- After locating your invoice, select the items you wish to return.
- You’ll be asked to provide:
- The reason for return
- Optional comments
- Photos of the product (optional)
- Finally, select your preferred refund method (EFT, Credit, PayFast) and submit.
We’ll review your request and notify you once inspection is complete.
Sales Policy
1. Purpose
This Sales Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Turbo Diesel Components ("we", "our", or "TDC") sells parts and products to its customers, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all sales made by Turbo Diesel Components, whether through direct sales, online portals, phone/email orders, or authorised resellers.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by TDC.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders in the event of pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or suspected fraudulent activity.
A legally binding contract is formed only once a formal invoice or delivery note is issued.
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR), exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Pricing is subject to change without prior notice.
Full payment is due before dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payfast is the preferred method of payment. Orders are only processed once payment is successfully confirmed via the Payfast gateway.
5. Delivery
TDC endeavours to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates only. TDC is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or force majeure events.
Risk transfers to the customer upon collection by the courier or upon delivery from our premises.
6. Warranties
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, TDC parts carry a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

The warranty is voided if:
The product is used outside its intended application
There is evidence of abuse, incorrect installation, or negligence
The product has been disassembled or tampered with
7. Product Suitability and Fitment
Customers must confirm part compatibility before purchasing.
TDC offers technical guidance but assumes no responsibility for incorrect selections.
Installation must be performed by qualified professionals. Proof of fitment by a certified workshop may be required for warranty claims.
8. Returns and Exchanges
All returns must be authorised by TDC prior to dispatch.
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the goods.
Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
A 15% handling fee may apply unless the return is due to a TDC error or defective product.

9. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable under any circumstance:
Electronic components (e.g., control modules)
Opened gaskets or seal kits
Custom-made or special-order parts
10. Limitation of Liability
TDC’s liability is limited to the replacement of defective parts or refund of the purchase price.
Under no circumstances shall TDC be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including, but not limited to, labour costs, downtime, or loss of income.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under this policy must first be addressed directly with TDC.
If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
12. Policy Amendments
TDC reserves the right to amend this Sales Policy at any time.
Refund Policy
1. Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the process and conditions under which refunds or credit notes are issued by Turbo Diesel Components ("TDC", "we", "our"), in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only considered for parts returned through our official Return for Credit Request portal.
Only items that are approved following inspection and grading will qualify for a refund or credit.
3. Return Approval Process
Customers must submit a request via the online return portal, providing:
The original invoice number
The parts to be returned
Return reason and supporting photos
TDC will assess the submission and respond with an approval or rejection outcome.
4. Return Shipping Responsibilities
Once approved, the customer is responsible for shipping the item(s) back to TDC’s designated warehouse.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a verified error or defect on TDC's part.
TDC will not accept returns without prior approval.
5. Inspection and Grading
Returned goods undergo thorough inspection and grading to assess:
Physical condition
Signs of use or installation
Missing parts or packaging
The final refund value is based on this grading outcome, and the decision is final.
6. Refund Methods
Customers may choose their preferred refund method during the request:
EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
PayFast refund (for applicable online payments)
Credit to customer account
7. Refund Processing Timeframe
Once the returned item has been received and passed inspection:
Refunds will be processed within 2 to 5 business days
Refunds will be issued via the selected method
Store credits will be allocated instantly once approved
8. Handling Fee (Non-Negotiable)
A 10% handling fee is deducted from all approved refund values — no exceptions.
This covers administration, repackaging, and restocking.
9. Refund Conditions
To qualify, the item must:
Be unused and in the same condition as delivered
Be returned within 14 days of approval
Include all original packaging and documentation
10. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will be declined if:
The request was submitted more than 7 days after delivery
The product shows signs of installation, tampering, or damage
Parts are returned without prior approval
11. Status Communication
Customers will be kept informed at each stage via email or portal message:
Approval/rejection of request
Inspection and grading result
Refund confirmation
12. Amendments
TDC reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice.
